sunday morning

here is bub and dad on the couch. i think palmer looks a lot like dad in the one where they are both facing the camera. palmer playing with kitten. he is lucky she hasn't scratched him yet as he just pulls her fur. she is so nice to him and he hasn't quite figured out how to be nice back to her!

we are so excited because my mom, dad, grandma, sister and baby ian are coming today! looking forward to meeting little ian.

also if you could all say a prayer for my friend james, he is off the wagon again on what he calls a "vacation" which means he is binge drinking and has been for the last week. i'm taking him some food, a phone card and numbers to treatment places today. i cannot support him in this but it's hard to watch someone self destruct as well.

here is our little monster this morning. he was putting his arms up and grunting like frankenstien. i guess he probably just wanted out of his car now that i think about it, which i took him out after a few pictures :) i'm a terrible mother torturing this sweet boy for posterity's sake.

here is palmer this morning following kiko. he followed him all the way from the front room to the bedroom and pretty much wouldn't leave his side. pretty sweet.

being sweet

palmer was standing up and then he kinda leaned against the laundry basket. i thought it was pretty cute. he's getting so brave standing up and letting go, and sometimes falling on his little bum. once again taking after his dad, because i didn't walk until i was like 14 months!

then there is the funniest picture of him after he woke up from his nap! kiko and i were laughing so hard. his hair was standing up and he's been sticking out his toungue a bunch. fer funny.

ok i took a bunch of pictures using the camera my parents handed down since mine broke and when i was trying to upload it kept saying that there was an internal error? i took some using the camera kiko's parent's handed down and i don't have a way to hook it up to my computer. so there you go. any ideas about the internal error thing? that never happened with my other camera's pictures.

simple pleasures

here is palmer having fun with a cardboard box. i have to remember those simple pleasures. kiko called this morning bummed about being broke, so i decided to try and make some money selling some stuff on ebay. well in the process of taking pictures of the items i broke my camera. boo hoo :( that is irony kiko says. also we forgot about our bikes chained at our old apartment and i finally remembered and went by today and they are gone :( i better go buy a power ball ticket! but yesterday i did win an ipod shuffle at the grocery store, so that was pretty sweet.

pool party

happy summer! it's been a long day. we blew up our little baby pool and enjoyed the gorgeous day. it was really lovely and i just love our back yard. i cannot wait to get some landscaping done. this year i decided i really should only worry about pulling weeds and getting the yard better. there is only so much one can do in a year. especially since our house was empty for 2 years.

there was NO beer in the bottle palmer was playing with and i had washed it out, but he wouldn't give it up. he is his father's son.

no sleep

the culprit to palmer's inability to sleep has finally shown itself. tooth #3! it's the top right one. oh poor man it hurts so much!

i tried to get some cute pictures of arlin and palmer the other day but none of these really turned out they are such little boys now!

bath and more. . .

he was so fun today. he was just in a good mood and we played and he napped and he ate and he took a bath and he went right to sleep tonight! (knock on wood) last night he was up a bunch, i think he must be teething, as he keeps biting me again. i was like, "no" and then he started laughing out loud! it's hard to be mad though he is so darn sweet. he started waving today! he was waving at the bags from target (you can see him in the one with the so sad face, his little arm is a flappin). he waved at me and kiko though too. he is pulling himself up and doing squats. i'm trying to get a little movie of that. he can climb over me when i lay on the floor with him and this weekend he let go of what he was holding onto and stood on his own for a second twice! it won't be long and this little man will be running!
