happy thankgiving belated

we were pretty mellow. we didn't make a traditional holiday meal american we made tamales. still fairly time consuming and delicious. our freezer runneth over. i'm still craving some turkey and stuffing though. i'm going to have to see if i can find a turkey and maybe make it this week. was going to today but didn't have time to get to the store. james came over thanksgiving day with his dog berlin and palmer LOVED berlin. he ran around screaming after him. berlin was really good with him thank goodness, palmer was so excited.

Friday I ran to the a park in Park Hill, it wasn't as long a run only 2.5 mi, but didn't have to run through the mud and a little different park for palmer to play at. i can't believe the snow hasn't melted yet!

matt and marlaine got palmer this truck. it has little card you stick into the top with a letter. he has been loving it. they got it for him for kiko's birthday :)

it's been so long! life has been busy. . . . palmer is kind of sick i think. he is so whiny and grumpy. . . must have got it thurs at school.
he has been saying miss daddy, and i thought he meant he missed kiko but realized he was saying it like miss. shannon, his preschool teacher, Miss Daddy. . . hehehe

he has a new friend at school, carter. he keeps saying carter, and as always arlin. there is a house by the neighborhood market he thinks for some reason is tyler and chad's and every time i swing by to pick something up he thinks we are going to see arlin!

lazy saturday

got to stop by and see arlin thursday finally! it's been too long (we need to try a weekly thing) because palmer is always missing arlin. . .

oh the weather outside is frightful. . .
we did venture out and head to the library so i could pick up a few things that were on hold for me. then we stopped by a play ground let palmer run around a bit in the cold. tonight it's out for pizza for kiko's birthday. hopefully we'll get a nap here first though!

almost birthday

tomorrow is kiko's birthday! yey! i think kiko must have taken these pictures. i had play date over here today and forgot to take any pictures! bad mama. i made this kind of chicken and dumplings thing for dinner, turkey and sweet potato dumplings and i ruined it by putting in too much baking soda! ugh. . . tomorrow palmer is staying in school all day while i do a chair massage gig for whole foods bake house. i hate to leave him, i hope he does ok! i'll pay for the day of school in one hour though so it'll be worth it so i can buy kiko a birthday present :)

palmer slept like poo last night and then would hardly nap today. . . .ugh! i can't wait to go to sleep tonight!

gotta love colorado and our beautiful weather! after the snow last week there wasn't a cloud in the sky today!

busy busy

so palmer had his 2 year check up. he is 3 feet 2 3/4 inches. according to our friend tom if you double a boys height at 2 that's how tall he'll be (tom was in a study at the univ. of minn. as a child and he was 3'3" at 2 and is 6'6" now). He weighs in at 35 and some #! no wonder my back is always hurting!

the only way i got his costume on was because he was afraid of darth vador and wasn't paying attention as i slipped it on, of cours he wouldn't keep the hood up.

we hung out with sarah, joel and henry on halloween. palmer wouldn't put the guerilla suit on, he kept saying, "no like it, jammies" so i cut the legs off and he had a guerilla sweat shirt.

yesterday we had one last party with elisabeth, george and regin, i didn't take any pictures there, but palmer was done being a monkey so he was a handsome little clark kent. i'm still tired!
