so i found these prints today at goodwill. looking up the artist dietrich varez, there isn't a lot of information, but i guess he hand prints and signs most of his work, but i saw one listed on ebay for $175. anyway, i like them and thought of hawaii right away when i saw them. they are going to soon be gracing the tiki bathroom of our house. . .

i made rice noodles last night and palmer loved him some rice noodles! i've been trying not to eat any wheat or cheese or processed sugar. mara said what do you eat then? yummy shrimp rice noodles, steamed sugar snap peas and teryaki beek lettuce wraps. (surf and turf) excellent.

we had some lovely weather yesterday after having 3 days of rain! totally not normal for colorado. everything is so green! i have so many weeds ugh! so i've been out weeding again, while the ground is soft. trying to get everything ready for my new store to open. man, it's expensive! hopefully it will be worth it though! i need to go and flier the neighborhood. . .

i really think

that palmer could be a model (when he's in a good mood that is). he's so sweet! palmer has been carrying things around in the trunk of his car! pretty cute

we took spent a lot of time napping. we didn't push palmer too much and we really had such a nice time! we went to the natural history museum and the zoo. kiko and i went out to eat at oyamel, jose andres restaurant and met up with his friend ricky. we ate a lot (i'm on a serious get ready for swim suit program now!)

palmer was such a sweety and loved his grandparents right up! he totally blossomed in language. he learned: motorcycle, clock, abuela (but he say bee-ya as a joke but he can say abuela and grandpa but his banana joke is just too funny), boat, go there, please, light. . . that's all i can think of.

had enough at the zoo. we made it to the elephants, hipos, panda, zebra and cheeta and then it was time to go!

i kept posing kiko, i got quite a few cute pictures so it was worth it!
made it home! true to form palmer fell asleep as we descended into denver! besides the fact we didn't get to sit together on the fight home it went pretty well. we were all tired though, but on the way home i dropped kiko off at the laramer lounge for a show! he's regretting it today.
