baby yoga and more!

so we had a lovely day today, i think it's supposed to snow tomorrow! you gotta love colorado. i have such a busy week and i am NOT leaving the house tomorrow, except for a walk if it is nice out. i took some pictures of palmer today and as i was taking them i didn't thing they were that great but i got quite a few i really like! he's just so sweet. i think he's growing he seemed bigger today for some reason. he is still kind of grumpy but i guess this teething thing just keeps on keeping on for quite a while and there are just good days and bad days. i had an interview at whole foods today and i realize i won't be able to take palmer with me for much longer, he doesn't like to be held down for so long even with toys. gets me excited for our trip to hawaii! eek! i need to start looking for tickets for that, put a watcher on for good deals.

anyway, i also am posting a video of palmer doing baby yoga. he has been doing this straightening his leg thing, which makes me think he may just skip the whole crawling thing and move right on to walking, he's trying to get up on those sweet little feet, which i had to take a picture of today (or two!) i am so so so excited to be done with school for the summer! only 3 more saturdays then i'm free to garden and enjoy my boys!

wow, this teething thing really sucks. i'm so tired today. i'm going to bed now, at 9! only 3 weeks of school, i'm doing interviews this week, have a volunteer thing friday and a big test saturday, then work and i might have to work sunday too! eek! oh well, that's life huh?! enjoy the journey.

you can kind of see by these pictures palmer is working on going from sitting to his belly and he also is really close to going from his belly to sitting! he'll be running around here in no time.

grandma's visit

was really such a joy to have grandma here! palmer will miss the constant companion i'm sure. we played and pulled some weeds. palmer cut his first tooth, i noticed last night! no wonder he hasn't been sleeping well! we didn't get enough pictures but these ones are really cute, i love the ones of grandma and palmer in the yard.

he's so lovely and fun. looking forward to this weekend with grandma! last night palmer threw up all over when he was asleep. i went and got a massage last night so kiko gave him some formula. i have to think he may be a bit allergic to the formula we have because he threw up last time he had some. he doesn't have formula very often so. . . we'll have to get some new stuff.

silly man

wow i haven't posted in a long time. i don't know what's been going on to cause that. i went and got palmer another bouncy seat, off of craigslist, because i wanted to find something that he could jump in like the johnny jump up, because we don't have a door way that works anymore for that, but this thing he really doesn't jump in. oh well, he still has fun, but i've gone a bit nuts with activity center things. it really helps to have things to keep him interested in so i can do my homework and reading though. i've really taken it kind of easy this week with not a lot due, it's been nice.

so excited to have my mom here for the weekend! i still have class on saturday but it'll be nice to have her here, hopefully mara doesn't go into labor! eek, cut it close.

i knew it

i knew he would like peas. so weird but he is his own little man with his own little likes and dislikes. he does not like peaches, pears or bananas. his favorites are squash, peas and he doesn't mind apples. oh man. we've had a tough time of sleeping. i stayed up later studying Friday night so of course bubs was up as soon as i almost got to sleep, i guess he's still teething. yuck! we went to loes yesterday and i got these seed starters so i'm hoping to grow some veggies for our little garden patch in back under the peach trees (we have 3!) i got some bulbs too, they say on the package that in colorado you can plant from march - may?! hoping that is right.

he is such a doll. a happy little joy of a guy. it's hard to get my homework done because he's just so fun!

here he is trying to take down the end table. he can't hardly play with his play mat anymore because he just pulls it down on top of himself. he's a little ruffian.

i got this activity car on craigslist. i thought it was more of a jumper, because we don't have a door for the johnny jump up anymore, but it's not it's really like his exosaucer. he likes it though and it was really cheap. i still want to find a jumper that stands alone. they have them at tj maxx but there like $70, i want to find one on craigslist for cheap, cuz he won't be able to be in it much longer anyway.

this is how i found palmer this morning. he was in a good mood so i figure this is the right side of the bed for him.

squash-a-holic

so finally we found one he loves, sqash. who would have guessed it! i think you can tell from the pictures he enjoyed it. i got a squash i need to cook up and mash and freeze, hopefully he won't stop too soon.

i spent some time out in the yard trying to study while bubba pulled the grass. it was so beautiful today. i went for a walk/jog this morning around the golf course. i'm going to try and do that as much as possible and my yoga videos. i'm feeling in pretty good shape so i want to keep it up now that it's almost bathing suit season.

that reminds me i gotta get palmer in for swim classes. that will be so much fun, he'll love it sooo much!
