beat the heat pt. 2

we met henry and sarah at the cherry creek mall so the boys could play on the breakfast. it's a play area with big sausage, eggs, bacon, banana and a big bowl of cereal with blueberries. it was so nice to be some place cool for a bit but i did end up getting a starbucks and a sweatshirt for palmer that was on sale.

palmer had no fear. he would just take off and play. he was so interested in what everyone else was doing i bet he'll sleep well tonight.

henry had just come from getting his first hair cut! very cut faux hawk. henry can walk now, it's pretty awesome. he can run! won't be long and palmer will be right there with him!

we are starting to try and get palmer used to having dad put him down on wednesday and thrusday nights since i'll be starting school those nights next month. i figure we'll probably have to get him used to it a bit so he won't fight it.

or at least trying.

we went with arlin and tyler to the pool. there is a very limited amount of time we can be out and about with these little fellows before they hit melt down. it was fun and nice but not very long.

a week whirled by

my this week went fast! i am working tomorrow and sunday morning this week.

yesterday we went and had coffee with tyler and arlin. it was a quick meeting but good to see them. arlin has cut teeth and it crusing now too! his baby's blues are so gorgeous, he's a doll.

then the sunset last night. it was really breath taking. just amazing. we were glad we ate dinner outside last night!

sick than sweet than sour

here are a few from when palmer was sick. he looks sick poor little guy. and one where you can kind of see the rash on his tummy.

then the one from monday where i thought i was gonna pull out my hair then he gave the sweetest little smile. and the cute double chin. there is a picture from christmas where he looked just like that! so cute.

then yesterday being a tasmanian devil. kiko has him making tasmanian devil noises. it's hilarious.

happy 4th

my family left this morning. i know it was too short. they were going to leave tomorrow but realized that having an extra day to drive was needed. i'll miss them a lot. it was really nice to have time with mara too.

we have been kind of lazy today. well we went and had breakfast at the beautiful bed and breakfast my parents stayed at while they were here. it was delicious, topped off with cherry pie, with cherries from the b & b's own pie cherry tree. yummy! then we were going to go to the cherry creek art's festival but when we got there we realized palmer had a rash, which of course freaked out mama! who knows if it was heat, a virus or the chicken or muffin he had. he seems to be ok, no fever, but poor little guy it's been a rough week.

family in town

here we are in our glory. it's been nice very warm. wishing i lived closer to family now. palmer has had a fever since yesterday and today. i think it might just be teething but it's still scary for me. send him love! little baby ian is such a good boy. makes me realize how big palmer is now!
