sorry no pics for a bit

my mac is sick and i have to take the poor little computer to the doctors to get fixed. i'm not sure what happened but i was on the internet yesterday and the power went out. i didn't think of it again until later in the evening when i decided to upload my pictures to my computer and post a new blog. it wouldn't hook up to the internet. so i grabbed my hand book and followed all the trouble shooting. i had a pretty good idea that something was wrong because it had never done that before. it says the built in eathernet failed, for those of you who know what eathernet is. well i'm so grateful i paid for the extended warrenty! i called and they made an appointment for me to bring the thing in to the store tomorrow night. oh well, hopefully it's not too broke. i kind of hope it's like when my ipod stops working and they just give me a new one. i've gotten 2 new ipods that way. we shall see, we shall see. i plugged in the lap top and we do have internet connection so it is for sure the computer.

oh, and palmer got another new tooth! he slept so crappy last night i was like what is up. today he smiles and bam, new tooth on the bottom. that makes 7! no wonder he's been such a little grump, poor little man!

across the street

don't get me wrong, i really do love our house. but i made a terrible mistake on my walk monday. there is a library in park hill that does baby reading on thrusdays so i thought i would time myself to see how long it takes to walk there. once you cross colorado blvd you enter an entirely new world. a world, which has captivated and mesmerized me with its craftsman bungalows and brick tutors. oh the trees, the yards, the smiles oh my. there is a market with goat cheese and organic produce! a co-op bookstore! a breakfast place and a cute restaurant. oh park hill why must you make me feel like this. i feel like i'm cheating on my neighborhood, the hood, north city park. i love how everyone smiles and head nods at me in park hill. very few will return my gaze nor even confirm my existence in city park north, it makes me realize they aren’t that happy we moved into the neighborhood. i will admit i get more hoots and hollers in our hood, but that's not necessarily my goal when i'm trying to burn some calories, married with my baby boy. our corner market has rotting meat smell, dusty shelves, rotten produce and hair weave. oh what a difference a couple of blocks make.

backing up

so i'm backing up all my photos off the computer (and i did all the music as well today) so i can delete some of them off of here. it's still nerve racking for me to delete them off of here for some reason. i've been backing up periodically but i'm going to do it again just in case, then start deleting some of them off my poor computer. having thousands of pictures on it can't be that good for it.

so kiko was out at the grill and palmer was banging and clapping at the sliding glass door saying da da da da. pretty darn sweet.

i have to do interviews this week for subs at whole foods. i could rant about massage therapists but it makes sense no one really cares about my business as much as i do. i hope to find some people who have availability and some excitement about making money. i also hope to find a way to motivate the 15 therapists who have permenant shifts that it is key to growing our business that shifts don't go empty, so they will try and help cover shifts. it really kills business if there is no one there to massage. keeping my fingers crossed i find the perfect people to help me grow this business. my belmar store has really been a struggle. i don't know if it's just the area or what. one of the team memebers from whole foods told me that belmar used to be a indian burial ground and every thing that has ever been built their has failed. i need to burn some sage or something. the old mall that was there southwest plaza i think, closed. who knows but it would be so helpful to keep my therapists motivated to just have a couple extra hundred dollars a week in sales. it's doesn't seem like much to me.

we're still working on getting better. palmer will not let you suck the snot out of his nose. he's so strong.

have you been watching the olympics. it's pretty cool. we've caught a few things. so many talented athletes. it's really cool that the world can come together for somethings. i guess they are competing but it makes me realize how many similarities there are across all humanity. people are people.

here comes monday

my first week of school! i'm nervous and excited. and tired as always! i stayed up too late last night and had to work today and wanted to get the house all clean before a busy week! although it will be messy again tomorrow. it's funny how quick it get's dirty again.

i took more than 76 pictures of palmer today. i deleted a lot of pictures and then i went to down load them and there was 76! man he's so cute! i won't put up all of them but here's some of the best.

i got my hair cut off! it's so short, but it's almost all my natural color again so i'm happy! i can't take a good picture of it, or myself right now cuz i'm tired.

it's been raining all evening! yey, love the rain.

my friend james is MIA again, and his sister is coming to visit tomorrow! i drove by and knocked and yelled but he didn't answer. i am done. he needs help and it's more help than i can give. it's hard not to worry about him though. i think, he wouldn't do that to his sister, something must be wrong. . . i should of this. . . or i should of that. . . ugh.

been awhile

sorry it's been awhile. i guess i was just enjoying time with the family. i ran around all day yesterday. i am pricing out a new fridge and washer and dryer. i mean ours work but i think our washer and dryer are from the 1970's and a lot of times i have to wash the clothes 2 times or they get a mildew smell. i don't know why but it's gross. and our fridge is leaking and is also very old. i figure it's an investment. there is a store right up the street that is giving away a drier when you buy a washer! i want a front loading energy effiecent model. we shall see.
