just enjoying the sun a bit today. i took a nap with palmer today and i could go to sleep right now but i have to clean the yoga studio for trade. hmmmm. . . nice to have kiko home safe and sound.
kiko's down in texas this weekend for his grandma's funeral and we miss him but he'll be home soon and it's good that he could go. he wasn't sure if he should leave me and i said you'll never regret going.
palmer was such a darling today! how lucky am i he was helping me clean up. little sweeper!
reading books, talking on the phone, playing peek a boo and running around in the walker. ah, he's just the sweetest little guy! i wish i didn't have to leave him tomorrow to go to school. i always have anxiety about it but you have to cut the cord at some point. i'm going to go get my friend martina and bring her here so they can play while i have class 9 to 12. hopefully he does ok, he hasn't seen her since he was a baby but i'm sure it will be fine. i have some short answers i have to finish up for class tomorrow and refine what my paper, that's not a paper, topic will be. who knows what i'll do. . .
sorry for the million pictures, he was just being so cute i couldn't decide. it was chilly today here. yey for fall!
palmer's getting so close to walking he can totally walk along with you when you hold his hand but still hasn't got it quite figured out. it's just so neat watching him figure it all out.
i started my own blog to politically vent with hopes of getting crafty at some point too. i have a bunch of crafty blogs i check out and they are really inspiring to me! its: http://fromabbysbrain.blogspot.com/
we had a pretty mellow long weekend. tried to get some yard work done, BBQ and some hanging out. nothing too crazy, it was nice. palmer was stuck on papa like white on rice. he was glad to have him here. our peach trees are pregnant with fruit, they still aren't quite ripe but i picked a few that were nice sized and we'll wait and see. it's pretty cool, hope i'll be able to get a garden going next year.
not really excited about getting back into the school grind, though it was nice to have the week off! it's a lot harder to get anything done during the day with a little man who's into everything now! it was so easy last semester, could just set him up with some toys and he couldn't really move yet! won't get any easier.
republican national convention, quite a pick mccain. we shall see how this hail mary plays out. there are quite a few issues with sarah palin. i cannot imagine her having much time to spend with her new baby with this campaign, i'm so curious if she's breast feeding. i know everyone says that family shouldn't be a part of the issue, but i think it does play a part. very interested to hear ol' bush and liberman tonight too.
