summer's winding down

well it's still hot out, but palmer starts preschool next week.
i was really worried because the school across the street had a waiting list for ECE but i got palmer in! i jumped up and down when they called me. we get to go monday to meet his teacher and luckly his new friend julian is going there too, so that's nice to have at least one friend.

palmer and i have been going to the pool on fridays, it's been fun!

palmer and i met some of the kids from playschool at a pool. we had a lot of fun even though the kiddy pool was closed for maintenance. we'll definitely go back soon! nice to get some color on my legs :)

we've had so much rain everyday, monsoonal flow. . . but we've still been able to get out and play too. palmer is such a great kiddo. . .

4th of july

we went to a festival in the highlands with kiko's friend chris
it was a hot hot hot day!


so we went to cool off down at the platte river



we took palmer to cars 2, his first movie and then the boys went to a baseball game and saw fireworks. the fireworks are a bit too loud for palmer so we skipped em' on the 4th. . .
