rejects

i've been so busy doing i haven't gotten around to taking pictures of the boy.  these are not on the xmas card.  pretty darn cute huh?!?!  i took like 170 pictures trying to get one that was just right and i decided on one. . . after some serious meditation on it.

almost done with school, well for the semester.  yey!  finished my last paper tonight, i don't even care if kiko edits it, i guess i should let him but i don't even care!  i should have an A in that class even if i get a C on the paper, which i don't think i will. . . yey yey yey, just 2 tests and i'm done.

so i have been doing my other blog and i haven't been writing about politics at all so check it out if you want to.  i also linked all my other artsy blogs i follow.

isn't palmer the cutest!  he is getting to be so much fun.  he is such a character.  when i got home from class today i swore he matured while i was out.  i don't know he is so sweet and fun it totally makes up for the times he's a little monster.

trying to get a christmas picture. . . i love this one he looks like a little knome running around. . . he didn't like the santa hat?!?  i'm still trying to narrow it down, these didn't make it though

he was putting the oven mitt on and charging around with his arm outstretched.  he was so fast i couldn't get a very good picture!

palmer was kind of quiet and i went in the living room and he had tipped his truck over and climbed up on the chest.

december in colorado

i ran palmer to the park today hoping to tire him out so he would take a nice long nap!  no such luck but he had fun chasing the geese.  this kid has no fear.  he also loves brooms.  very regal in the last one. . . little broom king.  it was beautiful though, 72 in the city!  it's going to snow tonight, gotta love it.

study study study

here is palmer reading in his room. . . he loves it and it's very  helpful for mom who is crazy stressed about school.  i should have done more last week during break!  oh well. . . i'm in crunch mode for the next 2 weeks, presentations, tests, quizes, essays, papers. . . oh my.  ugh, and of course palmer is not sleeping well. . . he woke up 5 times last night!  what the heck!  i think in addition to get the top 2 first molars he's getting the bottom 2 too!  

hey anyone have cloth diaper advice. . . we use a service and he was leaking all the time so we went up a size and he's still leaking!?!  i don't know if it's the wraps or what, but it is like any time he pees it leaks, i want to keep using them but it's a lot more laundry with we clothes all the time. . . thanks

thanksgiving

we've just been hanging out together.  i've been trying to get some homework done although it's hard, and i haven't gotten much done yet, ugh. . .  

we made cornish game hens, stuffed with corn bread stuffing, mashed turnips with crispy shallots, sweet potatos, roasted balsamic beets, and mini pumpkin pies.  i was cooking all day and so tired i fell asleep at 7!  felt much better yesterday. . . hope everyone is having a good weekend!
