play day

so today arlin came over while tyler got her hair done. the boys were really good actually. they are so darn cute. had to throw in the ones of them licking each other! hehe!

there is also a picture or two of palmer just playing. he was playing ball with me back and forth so exciting!

weeks a goin'

so i'm not as sad about my hair now, thank goodness. just took a couple days.

here's a little video of palmer pushing up on his knees! he is such a strong little man. then a couple pictures. nothing that amazing, just a so sad face he makes. a picture of him as the little man. it happened to me. i got sad that he was growing so fast, he's hardly a baby anymore, he's such a little boy now! i didn't think that would happen but it's just so crazy how fast they grow.

i ran around all day today doing school stuff. i started freaking out about school and trying to find day care. i think i have figured out my schedule and only need to figure out someone to watch palmer Tuesday's and Thursday's from 10-11:15. my friend sarah might be able to. i'm not sure if there is a day care you can leave your child at for only 2 hours 2 days a week. school does have a really amazing day care but it's a lottery so you might not get in, plus you have to do full days either tues/thrus or mon/weds/fri, plus it costs a lot of money. i'm not sure exactly how much but a lot more than even 2 hours 2 days a week.

i have a paper due saturday so i've got to hunker down and get that done this week, and my therapist's pay checks are due on monday so i have to do that too. ugh, life. . . well i guess i better start enjoying the journey right, the mundane tasks. like paying bills! ew, i was putting that off too.

the plumbers came today to fix the $2000 drain they put in that was flooding the laundry room everytime i washed clothes. oh i'm soooo happy that's fixed. i really want a new washer and dryer, but i don't want it to be one of those things, be careful what you wish for and the old ones break! i want to get an energy saving front loading washer, you get a rebate from the city if you get one. i think our dryer is from the 70's. it works really well though. the washer works fine too but i know they have to be using up so much more energy than the newer models. maybe i should go on price's right.

i'm waiting for the video to finish uploading so i'm writing a mini-novel.

i got to have lunch with sarah and henry on monday. it had been a while since we both have moved in the last couple weeks. i miss hanging out with my girlies. it's good for the soul.

ok, i really better get to bed!

weekend fun

so i got my hair done and i hate it. i had a serious freak out and poor kiko didn't know what to do with me. i know, i know it's just hair but man, it's sooooo not me. i might not ever color my hair again. luckily palmer recognized me and still loves me! it would suck if everyone hated it too!

there's the cutest picture of kiko carrying palmer in, he was all tuckered out. we did a lot of yard work this weekend, it was really a beautiful weekend.

so i'm posting a picture of my other babe, kiko, the man who makes this all possible. i owe him so much he's really the best hubby and father in the world!

also palmer in this little boat activity thing i got as a hand me down. he likes it. then just a couple cute ones.

p.s. notice how in the picture of kiko and the pictures of palmer on the boat they are dressed the same. nice dad!

wow, i didn't realize i haven't put pictures up since tuesday! time flies when you are having fun huh?! well the house is mostly together now. I have to get caught up on school work. i'm really behind on my reading now. kiko stayed home from work today so we can work on the house but i have to do some homework :( oh well. i've been selling our unneeded stuff on craigslist.

palmer is getting close to figuring out how to crawl! how crazy is that. i tried to post a video of it but it won't let me, i'll try later. oh we had his 6 month appointment and he's 20# 13.5oz and 29 1/4 inches long. still off the charts for now. last set of shots for 6 months! yey!

there is a picture of him eating sweet potatos for the first time. he wasn't too impressed. and i got a few shots of his cute chubby little legs. couldn't ya just eat them up.

rollin all around

here is palmer just rollin around. figured the grandma's haven't seen him move in a while. i also took a picture of palmer wearing the booties and hat that my friend sarah's mom made him. i'm afraid he'll grow out of them before too long. does anyone know where to get some pj's? i've looked and i can't find any. well i've only been to ross, tj maxx and old navy. we only have 5 pairs and it's never enough. i guess i could just put him to sleep in a onsie, but jammies are part of the bed time routine (not that that's going terribly well right now anyway. he's already been up screaming 3 times since he went down at 8. ugh!)

palmer's favorite time

tummy time. he won't really even stay on his back anymore, he loves being on his tummy. he can push up so far now!

i'm still very tired. palmer has been more restless. maybe he's teething. he's definately drooling more. i have his 6 month appt. tomorrow so we'll see how big this boy is!
