i said, "wave hi to grandma" so he's waving hi

blue steel

i'm gonna get you
i was running after him like paparazzi trying to get pictures.
i planted all my bulbs since it was so nice out today, we'll see if the make it.  and i got 5 lilacs from the arbor society. . . you get like 10 baby trees from them when you join, it's like $15.  i didn't plant my trees in time so i wanted to make sure i got my lilacs in the ground.

hello global warming

you can't really get the whole gist of this but palmer was putting this water bottle cap in his mouth and kiko and i were laughing so hard.  he had it in like a little stuffed pig.  we were worried it would get stuck, so we took it away, but while he had it he was hamming it up making us laugh so hard.  it would flip horizontal and he would look like he had a ring in his lip like that african tribe.  he's a card, he loves making us laugh.

palmer was so hungry yesterday he ate so much.  here is kiko standing by him handing him peices of banana as he played.  how can we not spoil him, he's so cute!

it's 75 freaking degrees in Denver.  i'm sorry it feels gross to me, it feels unnatural and weird.  i like fall, actually strike that i love fall.  i love gloomy days with fall colors and i love sweaters.  now, i also love a 75 degree spring day. . . that's one of my favorites but a 75 degree mid november day feels wrong.  now in colorado you can expect a freak 70 degree day in november but it was warm saturday and sunday and it will be this warm tomorrow and wednesday.  i need to head north!

first snow day

there was a little snow on the ground this morning but it melted though but nice to see.

yey for friday

so palmer's massive growing has slowed a bit he's only 25# 15oz (80%) and 32 1/4 inches (94%).  i swear he lost weight last week when he was sick, because he wasn't eating much.  he's healthy and he seems fine after all his shots.  i really just read so much about shots that i don't have a good feeling about them.  besides polio everything i read about all the diseases shots are given for are not life threatening, only in the smallest cases, put shots are also life threatening in the smallest number of cases.  it is just counter intuitive for me to give palmer so many shots.  i held off on the chicken pox for now so he got 4 shots yesterday and 2 of those were 3 things.  doesn't that seem like so much?  especially after watching the origin of aids.  people make mistakes and doctors are not gods, i cannot listen to them like they know better than me. my argument is they may all be safe but you wouldn't give your child peanuts, eggs and dairy all on the same day, it seems like you really shouldn't give kids so many shots they have never had at once, just in case there is a reaction to one.  they would never know which one it was.
